Required Thailand visa supporting documents for citizens of United States: |
Visa is not required for US tourists staying for up to 30 days.
Diplomats and Officials:
- Letter from sending department or agency, addressed to "Embassy of Thailand, Washington D.C. ", explaining the purpose of the trip, dates of departure from USA, arrival and departure to/from Thailand
For stay longer then 30 days:
Tourists:
- Copy of the airline tickets or itinerary.
- Copy of a recent bank statement showing proof of sufficient funds ($500 per person or $1000 per family).
Business travelers:
- Copy of the airline tickets or itinerary.
- Business letter on the company letterhead explaining the purpose of visit, name of company, organization or mission to be visited and it's address in Thailand
- Copy of applicant's recent bank statement, with a minimum balance of $500.
- Multiple entry visa to Thailand to stay more than 30 days at a time requires an invitation from Thailand.
