2 Mail us the following documents:

Original, signed United States passport with at least 6 months of remaining validity.

Passport-type photographs: 2

Itinerary. Copy of round trip tickets or confirmed itinerary.

Bank Statement. Copy of a recent bank statement showing proof of sufficient funds ($500 per person or $1000 per family).

Business Letter. A business letter from the sending company in the US. The letter should be printed on the company letterhead stationery, addressed to the Embassy of Thailand, Visa Section, Washington DC, and signed by a senior manager (an equivalent to Vice-President or above). The business letter must adhere to the following guidelines:

• Briefly introduce the applicant (please specify employment status/position held in the company by applicant).
• State the nature of the business to be conducted (ie. business meetings, contract negotiations, etc.) and the names and addresses of companies to be contacted in Thailand.
• Specify the type and desired validity of the visa (ie. multiple entry business visa).
• Guarantee of sufficient funds for travel.

Business Invitation. A business invitation letter from the sponsoring company in Thailand. The letter should be printed on company letterhead stationery, addressed to "The Consulate of Thailand, Visa Section", and signed by a senior manager (an equivalent to Vice-President or above). The business letter must adhere to the following guidelines:

• Briefly introduce the applicant (please specify employment status/position held in the company by applicant).
• State the nature of the business to be conducted (ie. business meetings, contract negotiations, etc.) and the names and addresses of companies to be contacted in Thailand.
• Specity the type and desired validity of the visa (ie. a one year multiple entry business visa).

State Department Letter. A letter from the US Department of State, sending department, or agency, addressed to "Embassy of Thailand, Washington D.C. ", explaining purpose of travel and dates of the trip. Letter must contain the applicant's name and the passport number.

Thailand tourist visa is not required
for citizens of United States for a stay up to 30 days.

Good to go if the term of your stay in Thailand is less than 30 days. If for any reason you are planning to stay longer than 30 days, please apply for tourist visa with extended duration of stay (one tab down on the left).

Check the current validity of your passport.

All travelers will need a passport valid for at least 90 days following your departure date from Thailand. However, we strongly recommend traveling with 6 months validity on your passport at all times. Make sure your passport has blank Visa pages.

Most destinations, including Thailand, require that you have adequate un-used pages in your passport, allowing for any necessary stamps upon arrival and departure. We recommend that you have at least two free pages in Visas section of your passport before any international travel. U.S. citizens can get extra passport pages added to their passports as fast as within 24 hours.

Confirm if transit visa is required for any connections.

Check with your airline in case you have connecting flights overseas as part of your journey to Thailand. It may be the case that countries you pass through en route to your destination may require a separate transit visa. Please refer to visa requirements of the specific country.
